The Carolina Grand Congress consists of an upper house (the Senate) and a lower house (the General Assembly).
The 45 member Senate approves legislation. Elects and appoints from among it's members the President. Can remove the President with a three quarter majority vote.
Consists of 125 members popularly elected to 5 year terms. Originates and debates legislation and passes on to the Senate for final approval.

The climate of Carolina is sub tropical with a slightly cooler climate found in the hills and highlands. Carolina is classed as humid sub tropical (on the Kloppen climate model would be Cfa). The country receives abundant rainfall with the coastal areas receiving slightly more precipitation. Cooler months are on average for four months and the warmer season lasts roughly eight months in duration. Snow is rare in the country during the winter months. January is considered the coldest month of the year and March is the generally the wettest.
