Secured Mode

Secured mode prevents the leader country of every player from making attacks on, or being attacked by other players. It does not prevent the leader country from invading computer controlled countries however. It should be noted that secured mode is present on all worlds EXCEPT Fearless Blue. Secured mode can be turned off if the country has its entire military activated (no reserves), and its combined offensive and strategic indexes are below 300. Nations in secured mode can still participate in federations, but they will not be dragged into any wars made by or on the federation. It is never wise to turn off secured mode because it will allow other players to completely destroy all of your assets. Instead, you should develop your secured country into an economical powerhouse that can fund your slave countries in whatever they do, whether it be war or further economical development.

Nations in secured mode can no longer be affected by nuclear fallout from surrounding countries.
