Klironomia ton Ellinon (κληρονομιά των Ρωμαίων, Legacy of the Hellenes) is a poem written by Dyonisios Solomonakis in 3225 that consists of 158 stanzas, which is used as the national anthem of Ruthenia. It was set to music by Daniel Mantzaros. Inspired by the old Selloi and Slavian music, Solomonakis wrote the hymn to honour the struggle of the Ruthenes after centuries of enslavement of the Parsian Empire. The poet mentions the misery of the Selloi under the Parsians and their hope for freedom and his liberation, the eternal remember of his legacy as the sons of the Kormenians and his eternal heritage.

History

After 3225, there were attempts to create an anthem, before that only imperial anthems was used in 3206 and the main problem with the anthem  was that he had no letter and could not be sung during the various events and ceremonies, plus most of the Ruthenes were " complicated, little original and hard to remember ." There were several attempts to compose lyrics for the anthem , including the composition of 3210 of Katsouranis attempt.

The debate on the hymn beginning to gain momentum in October 3226 when the Basileus manifested in the Parliament who the actual anthem "affected their morale of the imperial family and history" several options were considered. Finally the anthem was modified the current, called "Legacy of the Hellenes" or (kli̱ronomiá to̱n Ellí̱no̱n) rewritten by Dyonisios Solomonakis and the music was set by Nikolas Mantzaros, the current hymn is used in both administrative and imperial various official events and pleased not only the national pride of the empire, but enhances its history and heritage.
