[edit] Country

This section contains questions regarding the daily management of a country.

[edit] How do I increase my profit?

You may increase your profit by selling or deactivating your military assets or reducing salaries, thus reducing your expenses. But the most advisable of all is to increase your income by inviting CEOs to build in your nation. To attract them, you may consider lowering your taxes to 0% and advertise on the forum.

[edit] How do I increase population?

There are several ways to increase your population:

  • Cash Market: you can buy 1,000,000 of population from the Cash Market with prices that range from 1 to 8GCs;
  • Natural Growth: as your birth rate is higher than your death rate, your population will grow with time;
  • Worker Exchanges: you can gain population this way, if you exchange high salaries workers for low salary workers.

[edit] My employment is low. How do I raise it?

Main article: Employment Index

Your employment may be low for two reasons:

  • You lack corporations to hire your workers;
  • You lack enough workers in a profession(s).

If it's the first situation then its simple: just build more corporations or ask Enterprises to relocate to your country. If it's the second situation, then you will have to exchange workers with other countries and adjust your education priorities, in order to gain the necessary workers in shortage.

[edit] Simcountry

These questions are related with the more technical aspects of the game regarding status, payments, Common Market, etc.

[edit] Is the game free?

After a two week free trial, you will have to pay to continue playing. Using credit cards, paypal or hard currency, your payment options are:

  • 90 days of Full Membership, plus 90 Gold Coins for $12
  • 180 days of Full Membership, plus 210 Gold Coins for $24
  • 270 days of Full Membership, plus 360 Gold Coins for $36

[edit] I've bought membership, yet the game asks me to extend the registration of my countries.

There are two kinds of registration in Simcountry: one relates with your status (Trial or Full Member) and another with your countries. The first one costs you $3 per (real) month and the other 30GCs for every empire or Enterprise you have each (real) month.

You when you buy membership for the first time you will be able to play the game for 3 (real) months, but you'll only receive enough Gold Coins to play for another month. So, you may fall in the error of not playing all the time you wanted. The best way to avoid this is to win GCs, especially through Game Levels.

[edit] What are Gold Coins?

Gold Coins are the currency used in Simcountry as a whole. They are usually referred as GCs. It is the coin used in the Cash Market for all transactions, it is your medium of exchange to extend your countries and enterprises registrations and buy boosters.

[edit] How do I gain Gold Coins?

You can gain GCs by:

  1. Extending you account membership;
  2. Selling population or game money in the Cash Market;
  3. Selling countries or enterprises in the Cash Market;
  4. Achieving higher Game Levels;
  5. Winning an award due to a high ranking;
  6. Promoting Simcountry through the Promoting Members program.

[edit] War

In this section, you'll find questions and suggestions related with the War Engine.

[edit] How do I win a war?

You win a war when you manage to drive the opponent's War Index down to 0. This can be accomplished by invading the enemy's land with Military Units and destroying targets.

[edit] Why are my weapons deactivating?

Weapons deactivate for four reasons:

  • When corporate salaries are higher than government salaries, soldiers will abandon their posts.
  • If the weapons you have require a higher number of Low Level Workers or Medium Level Managers than you have available (unemployed), weapons will deactivate until the shortage of manpower is balanced.
  • There is a limit of 40 000 weapons per base/airport. If you have more weapons active than your bases/airports support, they will deactivate.
  • If your country is in debt and making a loss, the game will automatically take measures to balance the finances of your country. As such, it will deactivate weapons to lower defense expenses.
